Wines declared to be out of the best vineyards in Germany: These wines are from the highest quality locations and therefore, terriors. This title is also only reserved for Riesling and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) varieties. Harvest is of a maximum 50 hl/ha, the grapes are hand picked and selected, as well as measured at least ‘Spätlese’ (late picked).
The white wine cannot be marketed before the 1st of September and red wine at earliest a year later.
